Permanent Eyelashes

We all want our lush eyelashes to look more alluring. And for that, there are several options that we can choose to have the kind of eyelashes they we’ve always wanted. There are some, which are temporary, and there are some, which can stay permanently.

If you don’t like to go under the knife, your options are semi permanent eyelashes and popular mascara make-up. Semi permanent is also known as eyelash extensions which are renewable every a couple of months and requires touch-ups every two to three weeks. It’s a usual choice by many women because you’ll have a natural look and they can be easily purchased. Though a little expensive, they prove to be cheaper than permanent eyelashes.

False eyelashes are another inexpensive solution, which require only ten minutes to apply. You’ll need an eyelash adhesive to put them on, and it’s usually used with mascara to make it look very natural on the face. Mascara, on the other hand, is very cheap and convenient. Mascara can be worn anywhere and could fit in any purse though some studies have shown that they can damage the eyelashes and cause allergic reactions.

Many women want eyelashes that can stay permanently. Fortunately, the availability to have permanent false eyelashes is easier than ever before. It requires a one-time surgery to get the permanent eyelashes we’ve always wanted. The process, which usually take only an hour to complete, includes taking hair follicles from the back of the patient’s scalp and implanted and fixed on the lash line. Each permanent eyelash has to be implanted one by one on the lash line and there are about 50 to 60 permanent lashes involved. It should be noted that this involves a surgical procedure and it requires the customer to research carefully before finally consenting to this method. Also, permanent eyelashes cost can be expensive, about $3000 per eye, but it might be worth it to you if you are constantly putting on temporary eyelash solutions such as extensions and make-up.

This practice is common in Asian countries like Korea and Japan due to Asian women’s naturally short hair. Americans have been also adapting this procedure as well, though not as much as those in other countries. Originally, this method is used on patients who have congenital malformations of the eye or victim of burns. After surgery, those who have undergone the procedure will have to regularly trim the lashes as these can grow faster than normal lashes.
