There’s no doubt that heartburn and acid reflux are incredibly painful and quite annoying. You are most likely aware that there are many (and I mean many) prescription drugs on the market that promise to relieve the symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux. The issue with theses medicines is that they are very costly and some people event get addicted to them. Below are several simple heartburn cures that also help with acid reflux.

Drink A Glass Of Milk – You might be surprised that relieve could come from the 1 gallon jug in your refrigerator. Milk relieves acid in your body, and can sooth your stomach. Drink 3 or 4 ounces several times a day.
Medicine – If you are suffering from heartburn or acid reflux and you can’t seem to get relief and you’re taking medication, consult with your doctor. You might be surprised at how certain medications can cause heartburn.
Apple Cider Vinegar – Did you know that some heartburn and acid reflux issues is caused by too little acid in the body? Drinking apple cider vinegar puts natural acid in your body, which will reduce the heartburn.
Eat A Couple Of Apples – Same principle as the apple cider, apples can also be a good way to give you relief from acid reflux or heartburn.
Celery – Believe it or not, the green stalk in celery is a great neutralizer for some people. It can really help sooth the burning sensation. It’s important to remember that you have to eat it plain – no sauces.
These of course are just a few simple heartburn cures to try. Make sure that when you try one, you give it some time to work. Often many people are impatient (rightly so) and don’t allow time to do it’s part as well, and then they try something else to soon. That can back fire on you if you’re not careful. It’s been noted that stress is a culprit of heartburn and acid reflux.
If you’re dealing with stress, it’s good to remember to eat very plain foods for a while. You’re body doesn’t like stress and responds negatively to heavy, spicy foods. Knowing your body and learning how to take care of it is one of the best ways to live a relaxed fulfilled lifestyle.
